Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has presented a new bus to the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCORPSS), Ogun State Chapter, with a promise to provide necessary assistance to improve the education sector in the State.
Governor Abiodun made this known during the presentation in Abeokuta, saying the vehicle would ease ANCORPSS activities, as the association was a major stakeholder in the educational development of the State.
He noted that the donation was in fulfillment of the promise made to support the association with resources needed in carrying out its functions effectively, saying, “ANCORPSS deserves a befitting bus and secretariat to aid its administrative work because the government wants it to be the best among other States’’.
The State helmsman said, ‘’Our administration will ensure that the State maintain its first position in the sector among other States of the federation, as we continue to give necessary attention to the development of education’’.
In her response, the President, ANCORPSS, Dr. (Mrs.) Ayodele Womiloju described the gesture as an indication that the present government was determined to enhance administrative management of schools, assuring that the Principals would continue to cooperate with the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration in the quest to improving education standard in the State.
