A Nigerian couple has been recognized for their contributions to the economic emancipation of the downtrodden in the country by the management of the Prowess University Delaware United States of America USA.
The duo of Engineer Adelani Adetunji and his wife Folasade Adetunji both of whom are business moguls have been honored with an honorary doctorate award from the Prowess University, Delaware USA.
Speaking at the event, the Nigerian Representative of the institution, Professor Eze Nwauba explained that the award given to the couple is a well-deserved one for their contributions to the Nigerian economy through their businesses.
Nwauba stated that the recipient was honored for his laudable impact on the lives of people.
Prof. Eze further added that the couples were selected after an evaluation of the impression made on the lives of people.
Adetunji was awarded an honorary doctorate in Political science while his wife Folasade was honored with a Doctorate in Business Administration from Prowess University alongside other prominent Nigerians for their contributions to the development of their people.
Receiving the award at the Balogun Subomi Hall, the University of Ibadan, during the leadership summit /Induction and honorary doctorate award event of the institution, Adetunji lauds the management of the institution he said the award will be given to him is a big challenge for him to double up in his contributions to the economy.
while he also promised to continue with his commitment to giving back to society.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after receiving the award, the wife of the business mogul, Folasade Adetunji also appreciated the Management of the institution for the recognition.
The business mogul who is the founder of the Fadvic Venture stated that she felt so happy and honored receiving the award from Prowess University Delaware USA.
“This showed that they recognized my little contribution to the development of my people and my society at large, even from a far distance, on this note I’m pledging to continue with what I’m known for, which is promoting humanity through my philanthropy gesture. Today I’m so happy and feel so honored receiving this award, this means a lot to me and my family at large,” she said.
