In the wake of the new directives on the course of future operations of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the Ekiti State University (EKSU) has reiterated its desire to follow

to the letter all policy guidelines on
admissions as well as those relating to the smooth operation of CBT centres.

The Registrar of the institution, Mr. I’ve Oluwole, made this known in a brief meeting with the Ekiti State Coordinator, Mr. AbdulHakeem Abdul Hameed, after the 2021/2022 Matriculation Ceremony
of the institution held in Ado Ekiti recently.
The State Coordinator, in his remarks, stressed the need for the institution to adhere strictly to all those guidelines that he had earlier communicated to Dr. Ayodeji Olatunde, the institution’s
Director of Academic Planning and
Admission Officer, during his official visit to the State Office in the previous month.
In the same vein, the State Coordinator urged the Senate of the institution to show more interest in the activities of the institution’s CBT centre to preclude all forms of infractions that might tarnish
the good image of the university.
The Registrar thanked the State
Coordinator for his keen interest in the affairs of the institution and expressed the determination of the university not to be found wanting in any area of its operation.
Also, present at the meeting was the Head of the Matriculation Monitoring Unit in the State Office, Mr. Ishola Oladimeji.
