Ogun State Government has distanced itself from the fake sale of forms in Schools of Nursing and Midwifery being advertised on social media.

The state warned members of the public to avoid falling prey to the evil elements behind it.

A press statement issued by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker indicated that the State had concluded the admission process for the 2022/2023 session and successful candidates have since settled down for their programmes.

Coker said the issue of the late forms being circulated in the media space was the handiwork of some fraudsters, affirming that whoever deals with them does so at his or her own risk.

“We have since concluded the admission process into our Colleges of Nursing Sciences which offer Basic Nursing and Midwifery programmes. Good enough, the successful candidates for the 2022/2023 session have settled down in their various classes.

She said the general public should note that fraudsters are behind the late form being advertised on social media and the government would not be responsible in any way to whoever falls, victim.

The Commissioner noted that official government platforms were always

available to pass information to the public and a visit to the Ogun State Ministry of Health in Abeokuta to confirm and verify information would also do a lot of good to parents and prospective students.
