The Directorate of Information and Communications Technology, Lagos State University held a one-day training for new entrants Sandwich Degree students on CBT usage from Log-in to Log-out and how to make use of the LASU CBT platform effectively.
The one-day training which was held on Friday, 18th November 2022, took place at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, main campus, Ojo.
Resource Persons at the event were; Prof. Moses Akanbi, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science who took the students through the topic ‘Examination Procedure and Expected Conduct During CBT Examination, Head, Department of Chemistry, Prof. Rasaq Olowu who spoke on ‘Materials Allowed During CBT Examination’; Assistant Director, Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, Dr. Ibikunle Ganiyu spoke on Understanding CBT Examination Timetable, and Deputy Director, DICT, Mr. Babatunde Ashiyanbi who talked on ‘Device Identification’.
Other Speakers at the event included Mr. Olusola Olumide (Bursary Department), Mrs. Yemisi Nyaku (DICT), Mr. Adeolu Adenuga (DICT), and Mrs. Deborah EniKuomehin amongst others.
The Deputy Registrar, Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, Mrs. Afolami Arojojoye while giving the closing remarks and vote of thanks, admonished the students to take heed to the speakers’ counsels and advised them to put the same to use for their benefit(s).
The event was graced by the Director, Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, Prof. John Adeogun; members of staff of the Directorate and DICT, and the module one 2022/2023 Sandwich Degree students.
