Fight persons made First Class at the recently held convocation of Gregory University, Uturu (GUU), Abia State.
The Guardian reports that Uwakwe added that the institution, which took off in 2012 with 78 pioneer students and three Colleges, now has more than 3,000 students and 11 Colleges, including a postgraduate college.
He said as part of its policy, the university absorbs its first-class products as graduate assistants and offers them alongside the best graduating students’ postgraduate scholarships up to the doctorate level.
Rating GUU as a rapidly growing institution, the VC said sequel to the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC), during the 2018-2019 academic year, 16 additional programmes were introduced and have progressed to the third year with state-of-the-art facilities alongside approved postgraduate programmes.
