Tompolo Donates 458 Single-Seat Desks To Maritime Varsity

High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a, Tompolo, the President/Chairman of Tompolo Foundation has donated four hundred and fifty-eight (458) single-seat desks to the Nigeria Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, Delta State.
Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Executive Secretary, Tompolo Foundation announced the donation during a goodwill message he presented during the combined matriculation ceremony.
Dr. Bebenimibo described Tompolo as a strategic partner of the University, adding that he is putting measures in place to enable the institution to compete well with other world-class universities.
Bebenimibosaid, “Tompolo Foundation is presenting 458 single desks(furnitures) worth millions of naira to the university.”
He thanked members of staff for cooperating with the management of the University.
Receiving the items, NMU VC, Prof. expressed appreciation to High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo for the gesture.
Adigio said, “I respect him because he is fulfilling his dreams of educating his people” adding that the donor secured the land on which the University sits.
Besides, he announced that a building under construction would soon be completed by Tompolo at the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor added, “I want to thank you very much. We appreciate it. But just like Oliver Twist, we still ask for more.”
