The Director, Lagos State University (LASU) Consult Limited, Prof. Ibrahim Bakare has urged members of staff, Epe Campus, to turn in their ideas as well as proposals, which in the end would be beneficial to the institution and make it greater.
Prof. Bakare handed out the counsel when the Consult visited Epe Campus, in continuation of its sensitization exercise, its operations and activities.
The interactive session took place at the INOAGEC Gallery Hall, School of Agriculture Building, LASU Epe Campus, Lagos.
Earlier, the Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Nurudeen Raji, in his opening remarks thanked the Consult for deeming it fit to add Epe Campus to the list of the sensitization exercise, adding that, LASU Consult would assist the University in actualizing its dream of attaining the position of the Best University in West Africa.
The Dean, Faculty of Engineering enjoined the staff to support the Consult with ideas and beautiful proposals.
The Dean, School of Agriculture, Prof. O.T. F Abanikannda equally spoke in the same vein.
Prof. Bakare reeled out the activities of the outfit, which include; collaboration, training, consultancy and more, with a view of shoring up the internal revenue base of the institution.
“Ours is a combination of the intellectual and academic strategic process of enhancing the revenue base of the University. We operate in line with Corporate and Allied matters. We are into collaboration, training, academics, consultancy services and more, ” he explained.
He ended the sensitization by requesting his audience, mostly drawn from the Faculty of Engineering and School of Agriculture to turn in their proposals, top-notch ideas, which in turn would take Lagos State University (LASU) Consult to the next level and assured that all parties to such proposals would be rewarded fairly and handsomely.
The participants asked questions and made observations and comments, to which Prof. Bakare provided answers.
