Two Electrical and Electronics Engineering students of the University of Lagos have successfully been shortlisted in the Erasmus KA171+ exchange programme selection process for the 2023-2024 academic year (Fall Semester) of Haliç University, Istanbul, Turkey.
The successful students are Jinadu Temitope Olamide, 200-level with 82.7 score and Patrick Delight Kechukwu, 400-level with a score of 78.7.
They were selected along with other candidates from countries like Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Ukraine and Albania, after a very rigorous screening process.
The results were calculated by ranking the Erasmus Grades from highest to lowest. Erasmus Grade is calculated by 50% of the student’s GPA (out of hundredths) + 50% of the student’s English Proficiency Score.
The Office of International Relations, Partnerships and Prospects, University of Lagos, had earlier in the year, announced Haliç University’s call for applications.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola,, on behalf of the university community congratulates Jinadu Temitope Olamide and Patrick Delight Kechukwu on this feat, and wishes them success in their academic endeavour.
