A 23-year-old teacher, Etieno Sam has been docked in a Grade l Area Court in Kabusa in Abuja, for allegedly breaking into the apartment of one Ejike Fidelis.
Sam was charged with housebreaking and theft. However, he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor, O. S. Osho had earlier told the court that Fidelis reported the matter at the Kabusa Police Station on October 7.
He said that the defendant sometime in June broke into the apartment of the nominal complainant and stole his refrigerator and generator.
He said that the defendant also stole a motorcycle, pumping machine, a bag full of clothes and other valuable items all worth N500,000.
The Judge, Malam Abubakar Sadiq, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N300, 000 with one surety in like sum.
Sadiq adjourned the case until November 7 for mention.
