Ogun Distributes Letters Of Appointment To Shortlisted Interns

Following the approval of the release of letters of appointment to Ogun Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel (OgunTEACh) by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the state Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB) has presented letters of appointment to successful Ogunteach Interns.

Executive Chairman, Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB) Dr. Femi Majekodunmi made this known in Abeokuta, during the symbolic presentation of letters of appointment to successful interns, saying the gesture was to improve the pupil-teacher ratio and to fill the existing vacancies in public primary schools across the state.

Dr. Majekodunmi, who disclosed that the exercise would be in
phases, explained that those
who received their letters had completed their two-year probation period, enjoining the successful teachers to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and obey the ethics of the teaching profession.

In his remarks, SUBEB Board Secretary, Dr. Mikali Lawal, urged the new teachers to play their roles in shaping learners, whose future relies on the level and quality of education they receive, advising them to be hardworking in transforming the education sector and ensuring academic excellence.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Monday Akinde, appreciated Governor Abiodun for keeping his promises, assuring that they would do their best in contributing to the growth of the education sector.
