Secretary to Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi says the present administration is expanding access to quality education, and has encouraged the private sector to invest more in the sector.
Talabi, gave this indication in his speech as a guest speaker at the 11th Honour’s Day of City of Knowledge Academy, Ijebu-Ode, stating that priority was placed on qualitative education with an enabling environment for learners and students to excel.
The state’s scribe noted that the government remains committed to providing educational infrastructure, supporting innovative teaching methodology, among others, for the advancement of the sector.
Mr. Talabi affirmed that more private sector players were supporting the state government’s policies and programmes, towards enhancing educational development, congratulating Proprietor of the school
Mrs. Mosun Olusoga, members of staff and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for their contributions to the success of the programme.
Speaking on the theme of the celebration, ‘Turning Dreams Into Reality’ Talabi said education is not about acquiring knowledge, but empowering individuals to dream big, believe in themselves, and work tirelessly to turn their dreams into reality.
He urged the graduands to remember that turning dreams into reality requires individual effort, continuous learning and adaptation that could navigate the ever-changing world to turn their dreams into reality.
