The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education has announced the start of teaching the Chinese language in the intermediate stage for three years, from the first to the third, during the current year 1446.
Three weekly classes will be allocated to the first intermediate grade, and the number of classes for some subjects will be modified to include the Chinese language curriculum as one of the basic languages taught in This stage aims to teach students basic skills in the Chinese language, including reading, writing, and speaking, while providing all the necessary resources to qualify students and qualified teachers to ensure the provision of effective and comprehensive education.

The new academic year begins on the eighteenth of August, with supervisors, employees of educational departments, and principals returning to schools on the tenth of August.
