KATSINA- ALHAJI SAIDU Ibrahim has assumed duty as the new Coordinator of National Youths Service Corps in Katsina State.
He takes over from the Iron Lady, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad who has took a bow on attaining the Civil Service mandatory age of 60 years on Friday August 16, 2024.
Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim, the new state NYSC coordinator shortly after a brief handover ceremony on Friday, appealed for more support and synergy among staff to achieve the scheme’s mandate in the state.
He promised to run an open door administration, assuring that he will prioritize the welfare of Staff and Corps Members in the state.
He described Katsina State as his second home, as he had previously attended his Secondary Education in Katsina and thanked the staff for the warm reception accorded him.
Hajiya Aisha Muhammad, the outgoing state coordinator, earlier thanked the Katsina State government for its support which resulted in most of the achievements recorded during her tenure.
Aisha described the new Coordinator as an experienced officer and called on all stakeholders, staff and Corps Members to give him the required support and Cooperation to succeed in the tasks ahead.
