The Imo State Secretariat of the National Youth Service (NYSC) on Sunday said the ongoing orientation programme for the 2024 Batch B Stream 2 was a success.
The State Coordinator, Mrs Rachael Idaewor affirmed that the state carried out a seamless registration and documentation of Corps Members deployed to the State for the 2024 Batch B Stream ll orientation course.
The State Coordinator while monitoring the registration process at Eziama Obaire Camp, said that the registration officials ensured that the process was seamless as all the young graduates properly documented and kitted to commence the three weeks orientation course in the state.
According to Idaewor, “As part of the registered Corps Members, the 66 Polytechnic graduates of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) deployed to Imo State were all documented without an exception.
“The registered Corps Members expressed their appreciation to NYSC management for being called up to contribute their quota to nation-building despite their non possession of Professional License Registration Certificate of the National Institute for Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).
