Mrs Christian Salmwang has been announced as the new Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Lagos State.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed and made available to Daily Independent by Mrs Olatoye Christy, an Assistant Director Of Information and Public Relations Unit, NYSC Lagos.
“The incoming State Coordinator is Mrs Christiana Salmwang who hails from Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
“She is a graduate of Bayero University, Kano where she studied Sociology and also pursued her career further at the Nigerian Defence Academy for her Master’s Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies.
“Mrs Salmwang joined the NYSC in 1998 and has worked in various NYSC formations including Kaduna, Plateau, NYSC Directorate Headquarters and Enugu State.
“She has risen through the ranks to the position of a Deputy Director. She has equally been the State Coordinator, Enugu State before her recent posting to the State of Excellence as the 24th State Coordinator NYSC Lagos State,” the statement read.
