Governor Nasir Idris announced the donation on Saturday during a visit to the NYSC Orientation Camp, Dakingari.
He further donated three hefty bulls to them to enhance their protein intake in the course of national service.
Comrade Nasir Idris commended the Corp members for their orderliness, cleanliness and togetherness, saying it reflected the essence of establishing the scheme to strengthen Nigeria’s unity.
“Today, I’m the happiest person; I’ve been eager to come to Dakingari to see my Corpers face-to-face, no responsible leader will see this gathering without being happy”,
“There’s no problem in Kebbi State, Kebbi is safe, therefore none of you should seek redeployment elsewhere, my administration will sustain the provision of the most conducive environment for Corpers to remain and serve in the state”,
“I congratulate all of you on your national assignment, I have been informed about the problems associated with the orientation camp, and the government will address them squarely to make sure that we provide whatever is required”,
“I will do everything necessary to make you happy, Kebbi is your second home, you should feel absolutely free”,
“On behalf of the Kebbi Government, I am donating the sum of N20 million to the Corpers in the camp and three additional bulls to uplift your well-being”, the Governor remarked.
