The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has rescheduled the suspended 2024/2025 Unified Promotion Examination in all Primary, Secondary Schools and Technical Colleges/Government Technical and Vocational Colleges.
In a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, the examination, as rescheduled, will commence from Thursday, July 24, and terminate on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Recall that the ongoing Unified Promotion Examination was suspended by the government, as a result of the industrial action by the State workers, and it came to an end on Tuesday.
Announcing the new development, Prof. Arigbabu urged principals of the schools and colleges to ensure adequate arrangements towards the success of the examination exercise.
“Principals are expected to make adequate arrangements towards the successful conduct of this exercise, while learners are enjoined to comport themselves well during the examination”
The Commissioner disclosed that the state government has put in place necessary machinery towards a hitch-free conduct of the exercise.
He concluded by wishing all learners a successful performance in the examination.
