The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Badagry Branch, has formally commended Lagos State University (LASU) for the remarkable performance of its law graduates and the emergence of ten (10) First Class graduates at the 2025 Call to Bar Ceremony in Abuja.
In a congratulatory letter dated 15th July 2025 and addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, the NBA praised the University for producing high-quality graduates, particularly highlighting the diligence of LASU students and the dedication of the Faculty of Law.
The letter, signed on behalf of the Executive Committee and members of the NBA Badagry Branch, read in part:
“We sincerely commend and appreciate the hard work and commitment of your students, as well as the tireless efforts of the entire staff of the Faculty of Law in preparing them for this milestone. Your university’s reputation for producing high-quality graduates is well deserved.”
The NBA Badagry Branch further expressed optimism about strengthening collaboration with LASU in promoting legal education and advancing professional standards across the country.
Reacting to the commendation, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, expressed gratitude to the NBA for the recognition, noting that the letter reflects LASU’s rising profile in legal education. She congratulated the Faculty of Law for its continued commitment to excellence and reaffirmed the University’s resolve to sustain its reputation for producing world-class graduates.
