The briefing, which took place at the Faculty Board Room, Faculty of Education, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos, was organised by the Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme.

It aimed to ensure that all personnel are adequately equipped with the requisite knowledge, ethics, and procedures necessary for upholding the integrity of the examination process.

The Director, Sandwich Degree Programme, Professor John Adeogun, in his remarks, encouraged the invigilators to demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and impartiality, noting that their role remains critical in safeguarding the reputation of the University and ensuring that students are assessed on merit.

Professor Adeogun also charged them to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and to shun any form of examination malpractice.

During the session, the Immediate Past Dean, Faculty of Education, Professor Solomon Makinde, emphasised the importance of discipline, vigilance, and fairness in the discharge of duties. He reiterated that examination malpractice in any form would not be tolerated, stressing that invigilators serve as custodians of the credibility of the institution.

The session ended with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where invigilators sought clarifications on specific grey areas, ensuring uniform understanding of expectations across all examination centres.
