A 200-Level student of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Miss Okpala Chinanza Goodness, has emerged one of the top three outstanding female engineering students who contested in the Momas Innovators Award Competition organised by the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter.

Okpala, for her feat, was rewarded with a harvest of prizes including a scholarship worth of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000) Only, an internship placement opportunity at Momas Electricity Meters Manufacturing Company Limited, a job placement upon her graduation and support for her engineering projects.

The prizes were generously offered by the Chairman of Momas Group, Engr Kola Balogun, as part of his dedication to nurturing innovation and aiding the educational and professional development of talented female engineers like Okpala.

Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello congratulated Miss Okpala from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering,Faculty of Engineering, Epe Campus of the institution on the feat.
