The Nigeria Police Force has graduated 10,000 newly trained Constables after completing intensive training across Police Colleges and Training Institutions nationwide.
The Passing Out Parade, held simultaneously across the country on October 7, marks a major milestone in the Force’s efforts to strengthen manpower and enhance operational capacity in line with global policing standards.
Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, commended the new officers for their resilience and dedication during the training, urging them to uphold honour, diligence, and patriotism in the discharge of their duties.
Egbetokun noted that the recruits were trained in modern policing techniques, including intelligence-led operations, community partnership, and respect for human rights, all geared toward building professionalism and public trust.
He added that the recruitment aligns with the Police’s strategic manpower development plan to boost security presence, improve response time, and ensure public safety nationwide.
Earlier in January, another 10,000 Constables graduated from various training institutions, underscoring the current administration’s commitment to security sector reforms and continuous police capacity building.
