Afe Babalola Multisystem Hospital (AMSH),has promised to offer free registration, consultation, and immunization services to children under the age of five to develop a healthy immune system for the kids.
The surgeries, according to the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Kolawole Ogundipe will be for goitre and hernia patients without financial constraints.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Ado-Ado Annex of the Hospital, Ogundipe noted that the conditions can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, stressing that the modality of recruiting patients will be publicized soon.
He recalled that the Hospital has been providing free antenatal registration and consultation services to pregnant women while ambulance shuttle service has been introduced to ease the process of receiving care.
“We are gathered here today to share some heartening news from AMSH. In our continuous commitment to serve the community and enhance the accessibility of quality healthcare, we are thrilled to announce the launch of some health initiatives aimed at supporting both the highly placed and the underprivileged members of society.
“We are offering discounted surgical procedures for individuals suffering from goitre and hernia. These conditions, if left untreated, can lead to serious health complications, and we believe that financial constraints should not be a barrier to receiving necessary medical care.
“Those who are enrolled on the programme will not have to pay for the surgical fee. The modality of recruiting patients will be advertised shortly.
“The future of our society lies in the wellness of our children. To safeguard this future, we are offering free registration, consultation, and immunization services to children under the age of five.

Ogundipe also maintained that the significant expansion of the healthcare services is strategically located to ensure that top-tier medical care is more accessible to the immediate community.
